UDAYAL PADAI offers self-defense training tailored specifically for girls in schools and colleges, teaching them how to protect themselves against attackers. The training method, based on 18th-century Queen Velunachiyar's women’s army and infused with modern techniques like Krav Maga (Israel), equips participants with the skills to defeat an assailant in just 10 seconds using only their bare hands.
So far, UDAYAL PADAI has successfully trained over 12,000 school and college students, including those from institutions such as Guru Nanak College in Chennai, Queen Mary’s College, North Chennai Corporation Schools, and Kallakurichi Government Higher Secondary Schools. Each participant receives a certificate upon completion.
This program has been widely praised by college principals, parents, and media outlets.
